Can’t sign in
Tap Forgot password in the app or portal and we’ll send a 6-digit code by email or text message. The code works for 15 minutes. Resetting your password signs out every other session.
A device shows offline
- Check it has power — a keepr or magpi with no light is unplugged or has lost its supply.
- Confirm the Wi-Fi network it was set up on is still available.
- Power-cycle it once; devices reconnect and update themselves within a minute.
- Probes report on a sleep cycle — “offline” only means a report is overdue, not that the probe is dead.
Readings say “retained”
Your gophr is asleep between readings to save power. The app keeps showing the last good reading, marked retained, until the next report arrives. Set the sleep cycle from the probe’s card; changes apply the next time it wakes.
Calibrating a probe
Calibrate dry first, in air, then wet, in water — the app walks you through both. The probe must be awake; turn on Keep awake first if it isn’t.
Firmware updates
Updates arrive over Wi-Fi, or over Bluetooth when you’re standing next to a LoRa probe or extender. Never over LoRa. Keep the device powered until the app says complete.
Placing probes on the course map
A gophr H4 places itself by GPS. Any other probe can be dragged into position, or placed at the center of the map from the Not on the map yet list.
Set up a device
Every Ripple device is set up over Bluetooth from the app or the portal’s setup page. Plug the device in, open Add a device, choose it from the list, pick your Wi-Fi network and enter the password. The device connects, registers itself, and appears in your account within about a minute. LoRa probes don’t need Wi-Fi — the app gives them their security key directly.
If a device belongs to someone else’s account (for example, a probe you bought second-hand), the setup will say so and offer to request its release.
Working with an irrigation company
Share your connection key (Account → Connection key) with your irrigation company and they can monitor and manage your system. Schedules or weather rules they set will show as locked in your app. You can unlink the company at any time from the same screen, which ends their access immediately.
